Enrollment terminal

The enrollment terminal verifies identity, captures a live photo, and submits the person record. It starts the connected workflow; the Server processing stage must confirm the central record and device scope afterward.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the name, personnel ID, and person.
  • Read identity details or complete the required fields.
  • Capture a clear live photo and submit the record.
  • Keep the submission time, ID, and error details for follow-up.

Workflow steps

  1. Open System Entry and clear the previous person's information.
  2. Read or look up the identity and confirm the name and personnel ID match.
  3. Capture a clear, complete live photo with normal lighting.
  4. Submit the record and wait for the result. Do not repeat the submission while the result is unclear.
  5. Give the submission time and personnel ID to Server processing and wait for central confirmation.
  6. After the central record is confirmed, check whether the target device received the person.

A terminal “submission complete” message covers only one step. For the full enrollment and synchronization checks, see Enrollment and synchronization; for terminal operation, see Enrollment.

Common checks

  • Imported identity details do not match: read again or clear the form first.
  • The photo is missing or unclear: adjust lighting and distance, then capture again.
  • The terminal reports success but the central record is missing: keep the time and ID for Server processing to inspect.
  • The central record exists but the device has no person: confirm the space relationship and target device, then continue synchronization.

Next: Server processing.
